                                                 County Cowboy.

There was a man in chains,
Dazzled by the lights on Broadway,
He was a local 'Hero' but never ever lived it down,
But the jailer delayed him - so the story goes,
He was just another County Cowboy,
He was just another County Cowboy.

               *          *          *
The Magistrate sold him to a local paper,
It was a hit and run, that's what the jury said,
Serving 10 yrs or more, the story's getting old,
He was just another County Cowboy,
He was just another County Cowboy, he said-

Send a letter tell Mamma not to worry,
I'll be home soon yes I'm in a hurry,
I'm not guilty for the price I'm payin'

                                                  Poor Adam.

Neighbour stop you're foolin', you're playin' on my cross-roads,
You don't know what your doin', to me,
You're foolin' with my nature and nature's like a baby and
Baby don't mean maybe, you'll see.
Eve was feelin' Grand, Oo-Oo-Oo-

She was in command,  Oo-Oo-Oo-
Adam made it simple, but he had to make it pay,

Oo-Oo / Oo-Oo / Oo-Oo-----Oo-Oo / Oo-Oo / Oo-Oo-

Let's take a walk -

Now baby's got no money and don't you think it's funny?
But Bees they still make honey, you'll see!
Eve was feelin' Grand, Oo-Oo-Oo-
She was in command,  Oo-Oo-Oo-
Adam made it simple, but he had to make it pay,
Oo-Oo / Oo-Oo / Oo-Oo-----Oo-Oo / Oo-Oo / Oo-Oo-

When the sun shines in Deia,
You'll feel the mountains touch the sky,
Those days were so happy,
But once it made me cry,
But my life must go on just the same.
              *          *          *

We lost a sweet girl,
And-the mountains touched the sky,
Like a wounded Soldier,
I felt that I could die,
But my life must go on just the same.

Something that God only knows,
But he won't let you down,
Sometimes the reasons don't show,
But he won't let you down.

With regards to the words,('Something that GOD only knows')
My religious  beliefs have changed 'Dramatically' since writing this  song,
 but - 'My values' remain the same.

                                                             Holyman. -

                                          This is a song about one of the best friends in my life,
                        He decided to escape down the religious road and I have no problems with that,
                                             All I can say is 'Thank You' for being my friend. x

  Holyman, you say that you understand
 You say that you've got - 'The Book' - on the scheme,
 Passing pages, page after page leaving
 Age after age in a dream.
               *          *          *
 Holyman, let go of my hand,
 My 'Faith' is along with the breeze,
 Holyman tell me good tell me bad,
 But I know both the
'Red' from the 'Green'.

              *          *          *
 I've got the 'Picture', but still I can't see,
 You've got the guide book but no-one can read,
 We're all in a boat but far from the sea-Holyman.

  I'm sitting here with the Rain coming down,
I'm wondering what's in Store for me,
Streets full of Lonely people,
Lost in thisUniverse.

Workin' men with Dedication,
'Sold down the river' it's a mystery,
Houses full of Lonely people,

I'm looking round at Strangers faces?
But not allowed to 'Stand my ground'
Forty years, no hesitation and-

                                                  All My Past.

I met a friend the other day,
He started to remind me, of all my past,
He told me not to lose my head,
And never look behind me, at all my past.

                                         A Song for Perryman.

( My
Autobiography, DELIVERING the GOODS covers quite some info on this song!).

Norma Perryman was a manipulator, that lost control. Her - Qabalah & Tarot  cards went with her when she died.
(She was  a mere 65 yrs old). Sadly her modelling career had fallen by the way-side.

You say you're happy,
Could it be something you dreamed of today,
Could it be something you saw far away ?
And it's gone.

              *          *          *
You say you Love,
Do you need know what the word Love it means,
Could it be something that you've never seen?
And it's gone - I said!
               *          *          *
 "So my dear old friend, the Wars' at an end,
Take off your smile, you know what I mean,
You're false and your smile is so old".

               *          *          *
I've got an answer,
Throw out the old and then bring in the new,
Out comes the sun and the mornings come true,
Yes they do - I said! --- So, my dear old friend - etc
